Create a WebP for your project
Choose a JPG, select a quality setting, and export a WebP copy. The browser must support WebP encoding; this build checks that the produced file is actually WebP and shows an error instead of silently returning another format.
Compare the output with your original before replacing a website asset. A format change does not guarantee a smaller file or a higher search ranking. Keep a JPG copy when the application receiving your image requires JPEG. Use a higher quality setting when fine detail matters.

Good to know
Are my images uploaded?
No. This build processes image bytes locally in your browser. Selected image bytes are processed on your device. The hosting provider can still process page requests and website performance information. See the privacy page for details.
Which files work?
Still JPG, PNG and WebP images, up to 20 MiB each and 24 million pixels. A batch can contain up to 20 files and 80 MiB total. HEIC, animated-image preservation, PDF input and Word documents are not supported in this version.
Will my original change?
No. The tool creates a new downloadable file. Keep the original until you have checked the output. Closing the tab or clearing the queue releases this app’s file references; that is not a guarantee of forensic deletion from your device.
Why did the file get larger?
File size depends on the image, format and quality. Converting JPG to PNG can increase size. The results show the measured size; only the target-size compression tool specifically attempts to meet a KB limit.
Is PDF to Word available?
Not yet. This version creates PDFs from images, but does not extract text or convert existing PDFs to editable documents. There are no pretend conversion buttons.
