Make a transparent cutout from a simple background, clean up with brushes, and save a new copy.

For plain backgrounds and existing cutouts. This tool uses connected-colour selection and manual brushes, not AI subject detection. Busy scenes, hair and similar-colour subjects need careful manual work. It does not certify passport or ID photos.

A simple background, without the fuss.

Choose an image. For a plain background, use Pick background and click the region to remove. The tool follows connected pixels close to that colour; an enclosed matching-colour detail is not automatically removed.

Use the erase brush for leftovers and the restore brush for mistakes. There is one-step undo. Changing the tolerance only affects the next removal. The original file is never overwritten.

A transparent PNG cutout can go straight to the replacement settings. Pick a solid colour, a gradient, or your own background image, then prepare and download the result.

Know the limits.

This is not AI segmentation. It cannot automatically distinguish a face, product or hair from a busy scene. Similar foreground and background colours can be removed together. Inspect the output at full size.

The editor limits output to 2048 pixels on the longest side and 4 million pixels. Larger input is reduced, not secretly exported at the original resolution. Source images over 24 million pixels or 20 MiB are rejected.
