How to delete pages from a PDF
- Choose or drop one PDF.
- Type the pages to remove, for example
2,1, 4or3-5. - Select Delete pages and download the new PDF. Your original file is not changed.
When this helps
Scans often include a blank back page, a duplicated sheet or a page with details you do not need to share, such as an unrelated account. Removing those pages makes the file smaller and easier to read. If the result is still over an upload limit, run it through Compress PDF. To keep only a few pages instead, use Split PDF.
Private by design
The remaining pages are copied into a new document by the open-source pdf-lib library, running in this browser tab. The PDF is never uploaded, so it is safe to use for statements, contracts and identity documents. Text stays selectable and image quality is unchanged. Form fields and bookmarks may not carry over, and password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
Deleting a page here removes it from the new file only. Before you share a sensitive document, open the result and check that the pages you meant to remove are really gone.
Questions
- Does deleting pages change the quality of the rest?
- No. The remaining pages are copied as they are, so text, images and layout stay the same.
- Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
- No. The page removal runs inside your browser and the file never leaves your device.
- Can I undo it?
- Your original file is untouched. If you removed the wrong page, choose the original again and repeat with the correct page numbers.
