Privacy and local file processing

This page explains local image processing, downloads and website hosting on FileKivo.

Your selected files

The image tools read files you choose into your browser. Processing and PDF generation happen locally. The conversion tools have no file-upload endpoint, account database or remote conversion API. The website does not require an account or payment to use these tools.

Hosting is different from conversion

FileKivo is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare serves the website files and may process ordinary web-request information, including IP addresses and traffic data. Cloudflare may also provide website performance measurements. Local file conversion is separate from website hosting: “local processing” does not mean your visit is anonymous.

Retention on your device

The application keeps file references while you use the page and creates object URLs for downloads. Clearing files or closing the page releases application references. Downloads remain wherever you save them. Browser and operating-system caching is outside this app’s control; this is not a secure-erasure tool.

Future changes

The site does not currently integrate Google AdSense. Advertising, analytics, contact services or server-side document conversion would change the data flow and require a revised privacy notice and any applicable consent controls before activation.
