How to rotate or flip an image
- Choose one or more JPG, PNG or WebP images.
- Pick an action: rotate 90° clockwise or anticlockwise, rotate 180°, flip horizontally or flip vertically.
- Select Rotate or flip and download each new image.
Fixing a sideways photo of a document
Photos of documents taken with a phone sometimes open sideways or upside down in an upload form. Rotate the picture here first, then check it reads the right way up before you upload it. If the form needs a PDF, turn the corrected photo into one with Images to PDF, and if the file is too large use Compress image.
Quality and privacy
The image is drawn onto a canvas in your browser and saved again, so nothing is uploaded. JPG files are saved at high quality (95%), PNG files stay lossless and WebP is kept as WebP. Because the image is re-saved, camera details such as the location tag are not copied into the new file. For a rotated PDF, use Rotate PDF.
Questions
